Meta menardi  (Latreille, 1804)

Description

Conductor approximately rectangularly bent. Dorsal part of paracymbium distally equally wide as width at base. Epigyne with semilunarly bent anterior margin. Prosoma red-brown, margin and eye region darker. Sternum red-brown. Chelicerae red-brown. Legs red-brown, with dark annulations or spots. Opisthosoma yellowish, dorsally with dark transverse stripes or large spots, laterally often completely black.

Body length male: 11-12 mm
Body length female: 15-17 mm
