Episinus maculipes Cavanna, 1876
Description
Prosoma yellowish-white, with distinct brownish median stripe reaching chelicerae, eye region distinctly protruding, prosoma almost circular. Sternum blackish, with bright median stripe. Legs yellowish-white, often vaguely annulated with brown. Opisthosoma whitish with dark brown pattern, most distinct posteriorly, dark pattern ventrally only in the range of spinneret glands and epigaster.
Body length male: 3.5-4.3 mmBody length female: 4.3-5.6 mm
Additional information
Amongst leaves of bushes and trees, more frequent in the south
