Male palp very long and slender. Tibia at least 4 times as long as bulb. Large, brown to dark brown species.
Body length male: 7-9 mmFemales: no epigynal structures visible from outside. Prosoma light brown, with thin dark borderline, cephalic part with triangular brown patch. Body with light pubescence. Legs brown, with blotches on femur. Opisthosoma uniform light brown.
Body length female: 9-14 mmIn cork oak forests, scrubland, dry-stone walls, under stones, in crevices or in entrances of caves, Mediterranean area, ranging to South Tyrol in the north. Build irregular webs with retreat tube.
