Storkaniella janinensis Kratochvíl & Miller, 1940 ist nach Řezáč (in litt.) kein Synonym der Art, sondern ein juveniles Weibchen von Eresus walckenaeri . Demnach wäre Adonea fimbriata nicht aus Griechenland und die Gattung Adonea nicht aus Europa bekannt.
