Trogloneta granulum Simon, 1922
Description
Embolus short. Epigyne without scapus, posterior margin sclerotised. Prosoma brownish yellow, male: with uniformly descending dorsal line, anterior median eyes smaller than other eyes. Legs brownish yellow. Metatarsus I male: with thorn. Opisthosoma whitish.
Body length male: 0.9 mmBody length female: 1.1 mm
Additional information
In litter layer of subalpine beech forests, in blocky debris, 700-1000 m a.s.l. This species constructs three-dimensional webs, resembling (if viewed from above) the small orbs built by orb-weavers of some Araneidae.
