Histopona leonardoi Bolzern, Pantini & Isaia, 2013

Description
Male

Prosoma length: 2.25-2.86 mm, prosoma width: 1.54-2.05 mm. Prosoma with 2 symmetric longitudinal rows of triangular dots, cephalic part with dark median band, prosomal margin with fine continuous dark line. Sternum and legs unicoloured. Opisthosoma dark grey-green, cardiac mark moderately pronounced, dorsum posteriorly with an indistinct pattern of chevrons.

Female

Prosoma length: 2.04-2.28 mm, prosoma width: 1.38-1.63 mm.

Additional information

In forest habitats (beech woods) at 1000-1500 m a.s.l., in alpine pastures (max. elevation 2458 m). Some specimens were found in caves.
