Larinia chloris  (Audouin, 1826)


Prosoma yellowish, with a indistinct medain line anteriorly. Sternum light brown. Opisthosoma elonhated, dorsum with a pattern of brown longitudinal stripes and pairs of black spots, sides creamy yellow (sometimes almost black), venter with a white longish spot, surrounded by a dark line.

Global distribution (WSC 2023): North and East Africa to Israel, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh. Introduced to Mozambique, South Africa
