Eresus albopictus Simon, 1873
Description
Male
Prosoma 6.8 mm long. Colouration as in E. kollari, except the following characters. Prosoma: cephalic part dorsally covered with a red pubescence, lateral and thoracic part with black hairs. Opisthosoma laterally black, dorsally with a wide, lobed, red band, ventrally black.
Female
Prosoma black, covered with black hairs, and with sparse white hairs. Prosoma 8.2-9.5 mm long. Chelicerae covered with black hairs. Opisthosoma black, with tufts of white hairs, and circles of white hairs around deep points.
