Pardosa ferruginea (L. Koch, 1870)
Description
Male
Male palp with robust tegular apophysis, distally blunt, not reaching to margin of cymbium. Shield with robust process directed laterally.
Prosoma red-brown, lateral longitudinal bands of prosoma indistinct, median band oval, reddish. Prosoma length 3.3-3.5 mm. Legs male: bright, vaguely annulated, femur reddish, distinctly annulated. Opisthosoma brown with large, reddish yellow pattern.
Female
Epigyne with at least anteriorly parallel margins of groove, posteriorly divergent.
Legs female: red-yellow, distinctly annulated.
Additional information
in meadows, rocky areas and coniferous forests, 1200-2500 m
