Cyrtarachne ixoides (Simon, 1870)
Beschreibung
Männchen
Prosoma dunkelbraun, mit rauer Oberfläche, Fovea fehlend. Beide Augenreihen rekurv (in dorsaler Ansicht). Clypeus relativ schmal. Sternum fast schwarz. Chelizeren mit 3 Zähnchen am vorderen und 2 Zähnchen am hinteren Klauenfurchenrand. Beine dunkelgelb. Opisthosoma dreieckig.

Opisthosoma dreieckig, breiter als lang, mit 2 großen Höckern, glänzend, wie mit Lack überzogen, mit zahlreichen Einsenkungen verschiedener Größen. Färbung aus je zwei cremefarbigen und weißen Querbändern, mit Flecken. Einzelne Tiere können schwarz sein. Beine kurz, rötlichgelb, ohne auffällige Bestachelung.

Die Weibchen sitzen auffällig auf der Vegetation und imitieren offensichtlich Vogelkot.
