Cyrtarachne ixoides (Simon, 1870)
Description
Male
Prosoma dark brown, with rugged surface, fovea absent. Both eye rows recurved (in dorsal view). Clypeus relatively narrow. Sternum almost black. Cheliceren with 3 denticles on promargin and 2 denticles on retromargin. Legs dark yellow. Opisthosoma triangular.
Body length male: 2.1 mmFemale
Opisthosoma triangular, wider than long, with 2 large humps, glossy, as covered with lacquer, with numerous depressions of variable sizes. Colouration consisting of two creamy and two whitish transverse bands, with stains. Some individuals maybe black. Legs short, reddish-yellow, without striking spination.

Females sit conspicuously on leaves and imitate obviously bird droppings.
