Araneus triguttatus  (Fabricius, 1775)

Description

Male palp with median apophysis, distally with 3 long tips, two of them closer together. Epigyne with very broad scapus distally. Prosoma brown. Sternum as light as coxa. Legs red-brown. Opisthosoma slightly wider than long, light brown. Colour very variable.

Body length male: 4.5 mm
Body length female: 6.0 mm

on trees and bushes, mostly on deciduous trees
