Male palp with short and rectangularly bent distal apophysis, median apophysis with 1 tooth. Embolus long and slender. Epigyne very broad. Prosoma dark brown to black. Sternum dark brown to black. Chelicerae dark brown to black. Legs dark brown, annulated with black. Opisthosoma coloured very variably, dorsally dark red-brown to black, often with white pattern, ventrally dark brown with 2 white longitudinal spots, posteriorly with one dorsal protuberance, reaching beyond spinnerets.
Body length male: 4.5 mmoften on trees, especially conifers
