Oecobius cellariorum  (Dugès, 1836)

Description
Male

Pedipalp: radix apophysis very large, pointed, distinctly larger than terminal apophysis. Prosoma yellowish. Legs more or less annulated. Opisthosoma whitish light brown with irregularly spotted, dark pattern.

Body length male: 2.2 mm
Female

Epigyne wide, with an arched, sclerotised structure, behind it with a groove, without scapus.

Body length female: 2.5-2.9 mm
Additional information

In small, flat, tent-like webs under stones, from which radiating signal threads extend, mainly captures ants that are spun with broad thread bands and subdued while circling, in the north mainly on and in buildings, flat cocoons with < 10 eggs on stones

Since a few decades, this species shows some spreading tendencies within Europe. Nevertheless, it shall not be listed as alien or invasive because it is native for Europe.
