Description

Colouration olive-brown. Legs clearly banded. Ventral opisthosoma with a V-shaped dark marking.

Body length male: 9.9-13.8 mm
Body length female: 16.2-17.5 mm
Additional information

Mostly under stones, under old tree bark (south-east of Portugal) and in Eucalyptus trees

Distribution comment: Western Iberia. Records from from Italy, Greece and Turkey probably belong to E. walckenaeri and citations from North Africa concern other species (compare Moradmand & Jäger 2012, Moradmand 2013)
Global distribution (WSC 2024): Portugal, Spain. Introduced to the Netherlands
