Micrommata ligurina  (C. L. Koch, 1845)

Description
Male

Prosoma brown with cluster of deep brown bristles along rims of fovea. Opisthosoma yellowish with reddish-brown mid-dorsal band, anterior half of band deeply coloured. Palp: black embolar hook serrated along outer fold and toothed on edges of inner arch.

Prosoma length: 3.0 mm, prosoma width: 2.4 mm.

Body length male: 8 mm
Female

Prosoma light. Opisthosoma green. Epigyne: median cuneiform ridge terminating with a wedge-shaped tip at middle of epigynal plate, aperture-like fissure at epigastric furrow bordered by nearly straight upper edges. Transparent membrane partly folds around black body of spermathecae.
