Maimuna vestita  (C. L. Koch, 1841)

Description
Male

Prosoma brown-yellow, eye region blackish. Palp: Femur with large retrolateral scale. No patellar or tibial apophysis. Patella with 2 dorsal spines. Tibia with long hairs and 4 spines. Conductor very complicated, ending in 3 large, bent apophyses.

prosoma length: 5.0 mm, prosoma width: 3.2 mm.

Body length male: 9 mm
Female

Prosoma brown-yellow, eye region blackish. Epigyne: large anterior cavity, wider and deepest posteriorly, bordered by stronger sclerotized parts.  Posterior transversal domed area which is darker at the central longitudinal axe. Characteristic vulva.

prosoma length: 3.8 mm, prosoma width: 2.8 mm.
