Crossopriza lyoni  (Blackwall, 1867)

Description
Male

Prosoma with median indentation, 8 eyes. Opisthosoma pointed postero-dorsally, longer than high, trapezoidal in lateral view, high and abruptly truncate behind. Chelicerae with two characteristic pairs of apophyses and stridulatory ridges. Legs with many small black lines, femur I with spines ventrally.

Body length male: 5.9 mm
Female

Prosoma with pair of small posterior projections, with median indentation, 8 eyes. Chelicerae with stridulatory ridges. Opisthosoma longer than high, trapezoidal in lateral view, high and abruptly truncate behind.

Body length female: 4.1 mm
Additional information

Often in and on buildings.

This species of Asian or Afrcan origin (Huber, 2022) is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and could establish.
