Araneus sturmi  (Hahn, 1831)

Description

Male palp with median apophysis, distally with 3 short tips in equal distance to each other. Epigyne with scapus, longish distally. Prosoma brown. Sternum unicoloured brown, darker than coxa. Legs red-brown. Opisthosoma approx. as long as wide, strongly red-brown. With characteristic dark brown spots in anterior part, sometimes with dark vague folium posteriorly.

Body length female: 5-5.5 mm
