Beschreibung
Männchen
Prosoma gelblich bis hellbraun, in der Mitte etwas verdunkelt. Beine gelblich bis hellbraun. Opisthosoma bläulich grau, eiförmig. Spinnwarzen nach vorne gerückt.
Körperlänge Männchen: 1.9-3.0 mmWeibchen
Epigyne erkennbar als querlaufender Spalt. Prosoma und Beine gelblich bis hellgrau. Opisthosoma stark kugelförmig, grau mit einem bläulichen Farbton.

In Gebäuden, gewöhnlich in Weinkellern, in Höhlen. Baut regenschirmförmige Netze und hängt an deren Unterseite
Diese Art stammt aus Nordamerika und ist daher nicht-einheimisch für Europa. Sie wurde mindestens einmal nach Europa eingeschleppt und hat sich etabliert.
