Phaeocedus braccatus  (L. Koch, 1866)


Prosoma dark red to black-brown. Sternum dark margined, longish heart-shaped. Legs orange-brown. Femur I-II dark. Opisthosoma dark red to black-brown, with 6 bright spots, sometimes indistinct. Female: with dark brown scuticula extending to second pair of spots.

Body length male: 4-4.9 mm
Body length female: 4.5-6.9 mm
Additional information

In bright and dry habitats, under stones or in litter layer, ant-like movements, in the mountains up to 2000 m
