Males with embolus arising in 6-o’clock-position (in left palpus in ventral view), retrotibial apophysis with 2 small teeth at dorsal part. Females with median epigynal septum covered by lateral lobes. Copulatory ducts tightly twisted, not extending posterior spermathecae laterally. Pantropical, in Europe in greenhouses.

Males with embolus arising in 1- to 2-o’clock-position (in left palpus in ventral view), retrotibial apophysis with 1 long dorsal extension. Females with median septum visible between lateral lobes. Copulatory ducts twisted in wide coils, extending posterior spermathecae laterally. In caves, cellars, under stones in the eastern Mediterranean region.
