Psilochorus simoni  (Berland, 1911)

Description
Male

Prosoma yellowish to light brown, slightly darkened in the middle. Legs yellowish to light brown. Opisthosoma bluish grey, egg-shaped. Spinnerets situated more anteriorly.

Body length male: 1.9-3.0 mm
Female

Epigyne appears as a simple transverse slit. Prosoma and legs yellowish to light grey. Opisthosoma very globular, grey with a bluish tinge.

Body length female: 1.9-3.0 mm
Additional information

In buildings, usually in wine cellars, in caves. Builds umbrella-shaped webs and hangs upside down

This species of North American origin is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and did establish.
