Anyphaena furva  Miller, 1967

Description

Male palp with robust bristles on femur. Embolus long and S-shaped. Prosoma dark with bright median band. Sternum dark brown. Chelicerae dark brown. Legs brown, coxa and femur bright. Tibia and metatarsus darkly annulated. Opisthosoma dirty white to grey-brown with dark spots, 2 dark spots in the centre, very variable, nearly black animals can also be found.

In his description from 1967, Miller described the embolus as „short, claw-like, slightly bent, black“. Obviously, he saw the basal part only and overlooked the terminal hyaline part (Bauchhenss 2009)
