Merkmale wie bei Weibchen.
Körperlänge Männchen: 4-5 mmEpigyne doppelt so breit wie lang. Färbung gelblich, Prosoma mit dunklerer Zeichnung. Prosoma 1.2 mm lang. Sternum grau-bräunlich mit einem hellen Längsstreifen und 3 Paar hellen Flecken. Opisthosoma meist einfarbig.
Körperlänge Weibchen: 4-5.5 mmIm Freien unter Steinblöcken, in Steinbrüchen und in hohlen Bäumen, im Wald in der Bodenschicht, auch in Kellern, hängt an der Unterseite unregelmässig gebauter Netze.
Seit einigen Jahrzehnten zeigt diese Art Ausbreitungstendenzen innerhalb von Europa. Trotzdem sollte man sie nicht als nicht-einheimisch oder invasiv bezeichnen, da sie einheimisch für Europa ist.
