Enoplognatha mordax  (Thorell, 1875)

Description

Conductor distally with 2 rounded processes. Median apophysis of male palpal 3.5 times as long as wide. Epigyne distinctly wider than long. Posterior margin with process, forward-directed. Prosoma yellowish, with dark pattern on margin and around fovea. Sternum brown-black. Chelicerae yellowish. Legs yellowish-brown. Opisthosoma dorsally with large, grey folium that is flanked by black and white spots, laterally light grey. Female: ventrally with dark longitudinal stripe, white margined.

Body length male: 4-6 mm
Body length female: 4-8.5 mm
