Metellina segmentata (Clerck, 1757)
Description
Conductor strongly broadened distally. Embolus relatively short. Epigyne with ± circular lateral parts. Vulva with single receptacula seminis. Prosoma yellowish, often light grey with fine, black margin and Y-shaped pattern. Sternum brown-black. Chelicerae yellowish. Legs yellowish, with vague rings and spots. Opisthosoma yellowish green with pattern consisting of brown, black or reddish spots.
Body length male: 5-7.5 mmBody length female: 6.5-9 mm
